The plant of Karim Aziz Industries (Pvt) Limited is situated opposite Hassanabdal Railway Station spreading over 161 kanals of land. This is one of the only few steel making units in Pakistan and that too operating at an optimum capacity. The plant was initially installed in 1964 by Hussaini Engineering Company. The present management took-over control of plant in 1976. Since then many enhancements and overhauls have been performed. This plant has also been upgraded to a complete continuous casting plant facility in the year 2002. |

There is two Russian-built Electric Arc Furnace of capacity 14 tons at the core of operations with quite a few modern and effective supporting equipment including electrical control desk, control desk for furnace mechanism, lifting & swinging roof equipment, automatic power regulators, overhead cranes etc. Each and every machine in the plant is subjected to regular inspection and maintenance; ensuring that smooth, uninterrupted and quality production is attained. |

The company maintains a modern chemical testing laboratory where each heat / lot produced is tested for chemical composition against international standards (e.g. ASTM 615-A). Regular test are performed at during-production and final dispatch stages to ensure that all material supplied conforms to international standards |
In the mid of 2007, 20 ton LRF (Ladle Refining Furnace) and AOD converter for stainless steel of 15 ton capacity will be installed.
in additon, this factory has and an oxygen / nitrogen gas genration plant (of capaciry 150 Cubic Meter Per Hour)
We have re-rolling mills of size 18 inch where section rolling i.e. girders,channels, angles, round bars (25mm - 125mm) will be manufactured. |
